Though we welcome aficionados, you don’t need to know anything about art to work well with SLATE. We have a method for all that. We give you choices. We help you to make informed decisions. Then we take care of every detail. So you look very, very good.
Discovery
What is the nature of your project? What are your goals? What is the story your space will tell? In the Discovery process, we assess our client’s needs, including a site visit and review of floor plans, to craft a proposal, budget and look book tailored to the requirements of the project.
Curation
During the curation phase, clients review look books representing a variety of bespoke look-and-feel choices for the chosen project. Based on the client’s feedback, we launch a comprehensive research initiative to produce a detailed art plan and mockups for key locations. Revised to your specifications, the art plan comes together with a detailed price list and itemized schedule of artworks to be procured.
Procurement
At SLATE, procurement of the art includes ordering or commissioning, custom framing and presentation, as well as warehousing, if needed.
Installation
Our white glove service means art is delivered to your site by a team of professional art handlers supervised by an Art Consultant. We also help to ensure the collection’s safety by providing options for security hardware. Certificates of authenticity and insurance values are provided for all original artworks.
